Ok, for knockdowns, I would rather take Earthquake, or great dwarf weapon. (In this build we can't take great dwarf weapon because of the three PvE Skills already in the bar).

MS can be great in certain situations, but most of the time it really isn't worth it, as the massive cool down doesn't benefit you all too much.

Putting blind on a group of melee monsters is really rather handy, and if you take blurred vision for the "blind", it recharges with the AP, and makes for a very quick AoE blind.

Basically, when I run AP, I take the PvE skills listed, with Maelstrom, Blurred, and some snare, plus the res.

i would use this [Assassin's Promise],["You Move Like a Dwarf!"],[Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support],["Finish Him!"],the rest are optional,i would sugest
[Deep Freeze],even at 0 water this skil serves its purpose,[Glyph of Lesser Energy] for some energy management,[Meteor Shower]for some nuking, careful not to overexhaust yourself,if u are playing normal mode ,even hard mode most mobs especially squishies, should die from the first 4 skills ,with the aid of your team to ofc.If i would change something i would change
["You Move Like a Dwarf!"] for either[Mindbender]to speed up casting and in case u bring more spells or [Pain Inverter]because suicidal mobs are fun

whenever i run an AP elem build i prefer to the long recharge earth spells like [eruption] and [churning earth] over MS. the dmg is low, but the utility is great and makes up for the lack of dmg in hard mode.

same with combining as many wards as possible with AP. once i accepted that my ele would be better off mitigating dmg in hard mode than actively trying to kill things, vanquishing and dungeons became a whole lot easier.

Ive modified the AP build to suit my taste, and so far this is the best one that works for me. I love it in FoW.
[fire attunement][glyph of concentration][meteor shower][liquid flame][pain inverter][assassins promise][you move like a dwarf][finish him]

Now I like to open with [[glyph of concentration] [[meteor shower] just to hold the casters still after the mob has stopped moving. Then i just repeat skills 5-8 until everybody is dead, and if you need to clean up, skills 6,7,8 do a great job of wiping any enemy close to 50% health. There is nothing i love more than to get hit with [[spiteful spirit] from an enemy that i just put [[pain inverter] on (especially if im standing in a group of allies).
Now when i clear the Forest in FoW i like to spam the crap out of [glyph of sacrifice][meteor shower]+[assassins promise]+[finish him] on the hydras. (its like a challenge to see if i can cast more [[meteor shower] than all the hydras combined) I usually can get off around 5-6 [[meteor shower]] all at the same time when im at the opening mouth of the forest. This is fun because it will effectively keep all enemies on their ass. I usually end up about halfway exhausted so i take a few seconds to recharge, but since i have 100 energy anyways, i can easily manage with 50% exhaustion until it recharges. I really have tried to see why people talk so much trash about [[meteor shower] but every party that i have ever been in usually calls for me to cast it when we are on Vent or Skype. And i honestly notice a very obvious benefit to the team when i have a couple [[meteor shower] raining down on the casters.

But in all reality, the only skills that really make that build what it is, are the non-ele skills (5-8) I have another AP ele build that has no ele skills that is pretty funny. It works pretty good on bosses and especially if you are using a [[discord] team.. Ill post it

[deadly [email protected]][mark of [email protected]][enduring [email protected]][pain inverter][assassins [email protected]][you move like a dwarf][finish him][sadists [email protected]] My energy is about 95 in this build so i can spam all day.
Now deadly arts is at 12 and energy storage is 12+1+1... This is a fun build to use because it stacks hexes and conditions on enemies which make it hard for their monk to remove them as fast as i can apply them. Which in turn practically guarantees massive [[discord] spike
